Objective
This company invited Bell Oaks to “pitch” them the firm’s expertise as they sought a new long-term partner in executive search. It had only worked with Spanish-speaking recruiters on an as-needed basis and had not developed a relationship with an established company.
Process
Initially, the client questioned our capacity to recruit the specific backgrounds they needed since no one on the Bell Oaks team spoke Spanish. We addressed their concern by sharing with the client the depth of our referral network unbound by language and ethnicity. Our attention to building a culturally-aware work environment was particularly relevant to this client and our success for them. Once engaged, our first charge was to fill two positions — a Director of New Product Development and a Pricing Analyst.
Results
All the candidates recruited were bilingual. Within six months, the Bell Oaks team helped the client place these two key positions within the organization. The result has been two additions to the team that helped the company grow 13 percent in one year. This company remains a client .
