Bell Oaks Executive Search Announces Staff Additions
ATLANTA, Jan. 11, 2012 — Bell Oaks Executive Search, a national executive search firm headquartered in Atlanta, has named Marisa Connaughton as Associate Partner, Jill Hand as Senior Search Consultant and Catherine Overend as Search Consultant.
Connaughton joins Bell Oaks with eight years of experience in business development, account management and consulting across a range of industries including government and non-profit. Prior to joining Bell Oaks, her most recent role was the Membership and Development Director for the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, Inc. (VPPPA), a non-profit association focused on occupational safety and health. She was responsible for developing and maintaining key corporate relationships as well as securing annual sponsorship and advertising revenue. Connaughton received her B.A. in Sociology from George Washington University. She currently resides in Brookhaven.
Hand joins Bell Oaks with a strong human resources background, including recruiting in both a corporate and consulting setting. Her placements typically center on positions in sales, engineering, human resources and operations. Prior to rejoining Bell Oaks, Hand worked as a Human Resources Generalist with Cousins Properties. She graduated from Auburn University of Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. She currently resides in Atlanta.
Overend joins Bell Oaks with an extensive background in non-profit development and management. Her role includes sourcing and interviewing the best talent and actively networking to find highly qualified candidates. Prior to joining Bell Oaks, Overend served as Director of Stewardship at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta where she was responsible for maintaining relationships between capital donors and the school. Overend graduated from Washington and Lee University in Virginia with her Bachelor of Science in Art History. She currently resides in Virginia Highlands.
